Another update after a long long while. ha. Well, guess by now all of u should have known already. I'm leaving Citibank for DBS.. This time its climbing up the corporate ladder too. From acquisition officer to relationship manager or rather most ppl will know this term, personal banker.
What have i learnt from Citibank? Lots. And not forgetting the stress level there is rather high too. Though i have to admit that the money is good as well. But well, no point staying in a stagnant place whereby u cant really climb up. The only thing that will make me feel sad for leaving citibank is the people and colleagues. They are a bunch of nice fellows.. Especially the *dark side* ppl. Ha. Mark, Evin and me.. the evil lot in the team. Never fail to have a good laugh together. Well, I wont know if i would have these type of colleagues over there.. or is it just some boring bunch who only cares for themselves. *shrugs* But these ppl are meant to be friends instead of mere colleagues. Hope they will do well in their sales monthly too. And all the best to the team.
On a personal note (I think its bad), I feel that i have changed already. I've become more realistic now and i think my temper is getting bad too.. I get flared up easily. Not good not good.. Tell me if u ppl think that im really getting way way off ok?
And well, as for toodar and me, ha. time really flies. Without knowing, we've been together for some time and approaching a year in a couple of months. Ha. Together technically but not physically. One is in a land of sand.. the other in an island filled with ppl. But we're still good. Plans to Taiwan are up and kicking. Heh. She's got some sh*te recently, just hope that her next flight wont have such things. It'll be smooth. :)
The bunch are into books recently. Ha. Books as in studying and upgrading themselves. Fu is going for degree, mark for diploma, chris is on the way to grad. QY and Belle are already studying for their degrees as well, darius is waiting for his sat test n such. That pretty leaves ryan and me. Ryan is thinking abt getting a hospitality degree as well.. and im just thinking of a mass comm degree. But on my side, it wont happen so soon. It'll only start to take off once i settle down in DBS. Which pretty takes me a year before i can consider about studying. All i can say is that.. I hope to do well as a Personal Banker so that i can continue to climb up as a Branch Manager or continue in sales line to be an investment banker. Pretty far fetched isnt it? Heh. *shrugs* a step at a time. Thats all i can say.
And yes. Not forgetting, I want to get my car licence soon. Am sick of riding. Haha... Nah, not exactly that, but I'll need one in the future anyway. Plus, its always better to have more drivers in our group. Haha.. And of coz, when toodar has a flight back to Sg, its always better for her to sit comfortably in a car rather thn being a pillon on my bike. So ya. Driving plans coming up. But the first thing is still, getting my butt off this chair and register for my basic theory. hahaha... As for getting a car? Ha. that'll have to wait till my banking post kicks off well.
So ya.. that'll be all this time round.. Enjoyz.
