This week passes quickly.. and there she goes.. back to doha. Yep. I believe all of u would have know it by now that toodar had came back to sg specially for my birthday.. supposed to surprise me so that we can go on a trip overseas together.. but well.. i surprised her back instead with the notice that DBS wanted me to join them on 1st june. Damn. So ya, instead of both of us going overseas.. its pretty much of her coming back to Sg and visit everybody. Heh. Plans has since been shifted till a later date.. if not thn it'll be depending on her schedule and layover period.. i'll go over to the foreign land to look for her. Yep. So ya. Birthday week. Tiring but its all worth it. Of coz having that special someone to be with u despite the current circumstances is something even more lovely.. Thanks toodar. For travelling miles back just to celebrate with me. *hugs*
Im looking forward to july now. :) *SG SG*

Anyway, one rochester is quite cool, just that the prices may be slightly on the high.. spent the sat evening there together with the bunch of lads. Its been a while since the whole group met up too. Ha. Mark, Ryan and Chris are busily fishing these days.. whereby they can be a fisherman in the future.. The rest.. well.. pretty tied up with their own stuffs.. that includes me as well. Hmm.. What i can say is only having extra freelance job is not easy especially if u r needed to crack yr brains to look for ppl.. equipments etc, so that the job can be done on that day. Not forgetting, ended up more busy with my work stuffs rather than personal life.. Ha. n the best thing? Everything just comes together at the same time. For so long.. no news on any wedding shoots.. suddenly within the few days.. there are a few shoots and edits and not forgetting im only being noticed at nearly the last min! man...

Oh well anyway, im still currently undergoing training till the end of the month.. (something that im not actually looking forward to) becoz for the next 4-5 months.. im a teller. Yeah. So im hoping for this phase to passby quickly though. Heh. See how it goes ba.

And yes. Kinda miss those fun bunch over at citibank. Ha. Probably coz we go through some shite together.. so thats y can really click with them.. miss those days whereby everyone would just gather at our area.. n simply chat. And before u know it, our boss came from behind and stare at everyone. Or things like its the end of the month.. n everyone just help each other to hit their targets.. so its like everyone asking around.. who hasnt hit yet? and all these type of stuffs during the stress period.. *nice ppl* haha... Oh well.. those were the days i should say..
Note: I don't miss the job. Its only just the people there. haha..

But given a choice, i would still make the switch. Its upgrading for me. so no regrets or whatsoever. im just looking ahead at the challenges.. for this moment.. its... teller job. hahaha...
-.-"

Those few days that you are here..
Are the ones that I truely treasure..
Walking down this path we chose..
Seems difficult, but we're handling it well..

Looking at the path ahead..
Moving forward hand in hand..
Pacing ourselves for the desired goal..
Together, we'll make miracles work..

Thanks Sher.

Just like that. The last day at citibank quickly flew past me.. Well, Its over. Thats all I can say. Ha. Still remembered the first day at citibank, totally lost and not sure how to sell.. Thn after a while, I've been hitting my targets and of coz kena different kinds of shit and stress at different times. My boss stated that I'm a fast learner and has a desire to pursue. Hmm.. this is what i needed in order to survive in this fast paced society. The hunger and drive, all will be brought over to DBS now.

Started the first day at DBS on friday. Its more like a orientation in the end. Played those ice-breaker games, and know more about the bank stuffs. Suddenly, its like I'm back to my poly days whereby u need to know yr friends (colleagues) around u. Kind of funny feeling though. And thn the shocker news came. We (all 14 of us) are going through some experience training right? Yup. So experience, all of us thought that, maybe we'll be at our branch, attached to one relationship manager and see how they do their stuffs. But well, no. Ha. The good thing is, I'll be posted to AMK Hub Branch. So its just a few bus stops away to workplace. Cool Eh? Gone were the days of ERPs and expensive food. Haha.. The sad thing is.. I'll be a Customer Service Officer.. or to simply say, Teller for the next 4-5 months. Talk about starting from bottom huh? Haha.. I'm really doing that man. All the guys, (basically just 4 of us), look at each other stunned. We'll be behind the high counter. Did u ever see guys as a teller? Well I don't. (But thats getting to sex discrimination) haha... Hmm. If I look at another point of view is that, no matter what, I'll be at DBS for the next 1 1/2 yrs. And, we are always named as the 'superstar' bunch, coz we're supposed to be the elite who were selected from the hundreds who applied, and this is the first time they are starting this programme for diploma holders. (Formerly for degree grads only) So we're kinda guinea pigs in another way.. but thn.. Talk abt pressure even before u start to sell yr stuffs eh? Ha. Anyway, since im not gonna do sales for the next 1 yr, this is the best time for me to get my driving licence. Haha.. (Notice that i'm still stuck to my seat not applying for it yet. Man. Im so Damn lazy.) Ok soon. One of these days ok? After this busy week first. I'll go.. *promise* hahha... I think mark is pretty correct too. (Mark Chen not Mark Ke) the other day he was talking to me abt banking jobs and he was like saying.. dun u feel lazy after working in citibank? Ha. pretty true. Its like work home work home. All the energy were spent at workplace apparently. And all other stuffs were being postponed time n time again.

And... regarding the 'dark side trio' Ha. Well, Mark is joining me at DBS as well, but he'll be at POSB. Not sure which branch he'll be posted to, but hey. He's fast! Haha... They gave him a confirmation right at the 2nd interview. He's good. Heh. Thn again, there's nowhere to climb back at citibank. So, stepping out to the next level is always a good thing. Enjoy the 'upgrade' bro. Poor Evin. Now he's back to square one again..

Well, anyway, Chris wants to join the banking sector now.. another intruder like me? Ha.. Requested my former recruitment agency's number. No problems. Just hope that he really intend to make the switch and be prepared to get pressured down here. It ain't easy. Haha..

Alrighty. Update's done. Till another time.. :)
Peace out.
