Birthday Fever.
Heh. Once again, a big thank you to everyone who has wished me Happy Birthday on 07062008. If i happen to miss yr msg and didn't reply you a big thank you. Im really sorry as im really being overwhelmed by msgs.. really appreciate everyone's well wishes. Thank you once again.
Been a great birthday for me this year. Thanks to my friends, colleagues and most importantly toodar. She really gave me a big 'wah'. Ha... one big box full of little little sweet things and nice surprises and of coz not forgetting the nice cake that we don't bear to eat the middle portion (thats where our photo is!) hahaa... Went to PS Cafe on the eve of the big day, nice place.. really hidden in fact (We cant really find it actually, was circling around Dempsey area.. finally found the place after some directions given by a.... carpark attendant? ha.. not sure who he is, all he does is directing vehicles to their destinations and respective lots.) As usual, our dinner with long chats and jokes followed by some drinks and the nice surprises when it strikes twelve. Something which i would call, simple yet sweet? Ha.. ok shall not send more shivers down anyone's spine for now.
On the actual day, we went to chinatown to book our tix to bintan (yes we're heading overseas again) followed by dinner and met up the bunch at Bar opiume. Ha.. if you r wondering y r we going overseas again, well, coz my block leave is here and i have nothing to do. 2 weeks rotting at home? ha.. as for her, she has tonnes of standbys and some off-days. Therefore, we decided to head to somewhere near during her off-days. (Intended to go to HK actually, but.. not enough time to prepare for it... luckily we didnt go too.. coz there is a big flood there now. ha..) *back to topic* Bar opiume. For once, everyone turn up for the short drinking session (Its been a while since everyone gathered and all is accounted for.) short update with everyone and enjoyed some laughs inbetween. the next big gathering would probably be 21 june whereby belle will be having her birthday party? (i know i know.. let me guess.. bbq at her place? hahha.. oops.) see what happens till thn. :)
Not forgetting a big thank you to my sec school friends as well, (known them for 10 yrs already!!) organised a KTV session prior to my birthday and gathered everyone.. thank you for the pressies and of coz its always nice to gather and catch up. the next one should be 29 june i guess. (whoa. i realised there are quite alot of june babies eh? hahaha...)
Finally.. thank you to my colleagues at DBS... nice and simple cake during lunch for the celebration and thanks to Vivi.. who constantly is doing all these kind of celebrations. Thank you everyone..
